Every year during Advent, in one way or another, I have highlighted women's feelings, thoughts and experiences about the stressful pre-Christmas season. This year I want to take it to another level and hopefully you can help!
Before Christmas, I would like to talk openly about what mothers experience during the festive season - the mental and physical strain, the joys, the challenges and the feelings that we often do not disclose to anyone.
Mental strain comes from trying to keep our daily lives "in order". With the birth of children, this load increases considerably, as now we have to keep not only our own lives in order, but also those of our children. This is most often felt by women in family life, but often not even noticed by women themselves. The mental load is invisible because it is emotional and intellectual work - planning everything to do with holidays, birthdays, doctor's appointments, daily routines. And it is only a small part that creates this load.
I invite you to fill in one short and anonymous questionnaire which aims to:
– To hear you and make you feel that you are not alone in your feelings;
– Draw public attention the invisible work and mental/emotional strain on mums during the holidays;
– Offer ideasthat could help ease the burden.
The link to the questionnaire is here: https://forms.gle/npgZUaQwYsSx4kpC7
The questionnaire will take no more than 5-7 minutes to complete. The results will only be used in aggregate form to create content on social networks and wider media to help encourage and support other women this pre-Christmas/holiday season.
Thank you for your contribution! Together we can make a positive difference and make everyday life easier for mums this festive season!
I will share various suggestions and more about this campaign on my social networks - Instagram and Facebook ❤️
