About Course
Parenting is generally an exciting and often fun journey, but it is important to make informed decisions as you go through the challenges.
Parents often find it difficult to understand the consequences a child must experience to learn what they can and cannot do. In the lesson, I explain what it takes for a child to "listen", the difference between logical and natural consequences, what is it about punishment and why it often doesn't work, or works in the short term, but in the long term it leads not to respect but to fear and alienation.
The lecture gives practical examples so that you can gain more confidence in situations where you need to give your child boundaries.
In this lesson, I will look at three main topics:
- What does it take for a child to listen?
- The difference between natural and logical consequences
- About children and the concept of punishment
This class is for the too strong, the too permissive, the confused and the tired.
