Why can't my child hear me?

Parents tend to experience various communication difficulties with their children. And then it can feel like the child doesn't hear anything you say. Sometimes it seems that the child is pretending not to hear and is trying to spit on us.
Sometimes we have to think a lot about whether we are expressing ourselves clearly, whether our wishes are expressed in a way that is understandable and comprehensible.
